Who We Are

Alvin Mites and Hilliary Martin are the owner/operators of Mites Media Creations. Here is a short summary about where they specialize in the business world and who they are personally.

About Alvin “The Web Guy"

Alvin has 8 years of web building experience in Central Florida, and built his first computer at age 14. He has had the honor of working with groups ranging from non-profits to large corporations, but has the most experience working with small businesses and helping them realize their goals. He has mastery of and taught graphic design, web design, flash animation, user interface design, basic programming (html, css, php, and MySQL to name a few), and content management systems. Alvin has a deep understanding and experience in Search Engine Optimization (with Google, Yahoo, & MSN). He attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and is the definition of an Internet Renaissance Man, it is just as enjoyable to work with him as it is to learn from him.

On a personal basis, Alvin loves anything to do with being outdoors. Hiking, camping, or kayaking to anyone that wants to walk with nature he recommends the Little Big Econ (Econlockhatchee) Forest. He has a passion for creating music, playing various woodwinds (tenor sax) and is learning to play acoustic guitar and electric bass. Intellectualism is also a very important aspect with him as he is an amateur philosopher. When the subject of spiritual growth comes up, “Live, Love, Laugh, & Learn!” is an ideal Alvin is known to live by.

About Hilliary “The Caretaker”

Hilliary has been creating web-sites for 2 years and is an incredible person whom you have to meet to appreciate. She handles the Customer Service and Administrative functions of MMC including the sales, scheduling, and client incentives. She is motivated in creating a majority of the designs and layouts that produce the “WOW” effect we pride ourselves in. Hilliary is a skilled photographer, an ethical sales woman, and is highly innovative in being able to take complex problems and simplify them into easily processed parts.

Personally Hilliary is deeply in touch with nature, and has a passion for music. She has written and composed for several local bands. Her favorite instrument to play is acoustic 6 string guitar, and her favorite genres of music are blues, jazz, classic rock, instrumental, ambience, and almost anything live. She gets a lot of enjoyment out of researching and discussing art, psychology, biology, nutrition, as well as concepts of natural science and physics. Hilliary also loves spending time with her puppy, Freedom, which usually involves walking, throwing a Frisbee, or playing tug-of-war.
